NEURODIVERSITY AFFIRMATIVE PRACTICE
We are very proud to conduct our assessments using a neurodiversity-affirmative approach.
Neurodiversity is the term used to refer to the diversity of human minds. In other words, the idea that brains are different.
Autism is a well-known condition often diagnosed in childhood, which reflects such brain differences.
AUTISM ASSESSMENTS
We recognise that for many autistic people, attending appointments in unfamiliar environments and with unfamiliar people can be a source of considerable stress. Therefore, we try to help you to prepare your young person for their clinic appointment by sending a personalised video message to them introducing ourselves, as well as photographs of the clinic space prior to the scheduled appointment.
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY THERAPY SERVICE
